Honouring Kathy Martin's 18 Years of Dedicated Leadership

From Executive Director Jessica Brown

On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the Mount Waddington Family Literacy Society gathered to celebrate and honour Kathy Martin for her 18 years of dedicated leadership.

To recognize her lasting contributions to literacy across North Island communities, staff, board members, and community partners presented Kathy with a framed print by local artist Kathy Harder inscribed: "A Legacy of Learning and Love – Kathy Martin – In grateful recognition of 18 years of dedicated leadership."

We express our sincere gratitude to Kathy for her nearly two decades of guidance and heartfelt commitment to literacy.
